An empty locally manufactured gun was found picked from the grounds in Tamale where the 25th National Farmers Day celebration was held and addressed by President J.E.A. Mills on Friday, December 4.
Northern Regional Police Commander Assistant Commissioner of Police, Angwubutoge Awuni told Myjoyonline.com that no one claimed ownership of the empty gun, however two other persons found with a cutlass and an axe among the crowd were arrested and are to be processed for court Monday morning.
