Brewery giants Guinness Ghana says it has no immediate plans of taking over another brewery so it could further consolidate its position as market leader.
It follows talks amongst some market watchers.
Managing Director, Ekwunife Okoli told Joy Business its focus this year is to introduce innovative products to meet the increasing needs of its consumers.
“We clearly believe that we have a huge brand portfolio that still has a huge potential to grow,” he stated.
Mr Okoli said the company was working hard to market its spirits products aggressively.
The company is expected to begin a right issue in September to raise 70 million Ghana cedis.
