The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of the Accra bourse, had another impressive run on Wednesday.
The index rallied by 45.23 points to close at 9,889.94 from 9,844.71 points on the back of gains in five equities.
Change for the year to date now stands at 49.85 per cent.
Traded volumes closed the session at 264,900 shares down from 14,362,200 shares on the previous session.
There were 10 price changes, eight positive and two negative.
Benso Oil Palm Plantation gained GH¢0.02 at GH¢1.28, Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢3.27 GH cedis, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated went up GH¢0.02 at GH¢2.32 and Fan Milk GH¢0.01 at GH¢3.30.
Other gainers were Guinness Ghana Limited with GH¢0.01 at GH¢1.77, Standard Chartered Bank was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢27.19, State Insurance Company went up GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.50 and Unilever was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢2.44.
The losers were Aluworks, which went down by GH¢0.03 at GH¢0.68 and Produce Buying Company lost GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.22.
Market capitalisation ended the session up at GH¢15,237.27 million compared to GH¢15,209.09 million.
