After all the drama and suspense with regards to the relegation battle, Liberty Professionals and Ebusua Dwarfs ended the season relegated alongside Inter Allies.
Coming into the final day, Inter Allies knew they will be playing Division One football next season.
However, there were still two more relegation slots remaining with five teams still in danger of joining Inter Allies.
Each club needed to win to confirm their status in the Ghana Premier League.
Legon Cities survived a scare after going down against Eleven Wonders.
The Royals were losing 2-1 at half time and were in the relegation zone.
Two quick fire second half goals from Hans Kwofie and Mathew Cudjoe gave Maxwell Konadu all three points to secure their Premier League status.
Elmina Sharks pulled a miraculous escape beating Asante Kotoko at Obuasi.
The victory meant they finished ahead of Ebusua Dwarfs, who also beat Eleven Wonders.
Sharks and Dwarfs finished on the same number of points but Sharks have a better head to head.
Dwarfs as a result have been relegated to the Division One.
Joining them in the lower division is Liberty Professionals who failed to beat King Faisal.
The Scientific Soccer Lads needed a win and came up short drawing 0-0 with King Faisal. They end the league 17th and have been relegated for the first time in 22 years.
King Faisal, on the other hand, completed a great escape. After spending 27 of the 34 matchdays in the relegation zone, the Insha Allah boys needed a draw on Sunday to boost their chances of safety.
The Kumasi-based club finished 14th with 41 points and will compete in the top flight next season.
Aduana Stars proved to be too strong for Karela United winning 2-1.
The Dormaa-based club raced into a two goal lead through Charles Gyamfi and Benjamin Tweneboah.
Diawisie Taylor pulled one back from the spot to score his 18th goal of the season but it wasn’t enough.
Medeama ended the season on a positive note thanks to a last minute penalty from Kwasi Donsu against Berekum Chelsea.
