Chief Executive Officer of New Edubiase, Alex Akumey, is confident his side will remain in the top flight of the league despite recent predicaments facing the club.
The club is currently ranked bottom in the league amidst financial constraints but Akumey is confident his side will pull off a miraculous escape.
“I have told my supporters that we are in difficult moment now when we ended the first round of the league.”
“We all saw what happened to us but we are a bit calm because some of our players have been suspended, our director has been suspended and the team have been banned from playing at home and with our supporters.
“For me it not good for Ghana football and not good for our club as well. Whoever has a bad intention for the club will never succeed because where we are now is just a temporal moment for us even though it is tough but it is still achievable to get to better position than this.”
“They can decide to send us everywhere to play our home matches but what I want to say is that we will never remain in our position forever and that is what I will tell my supporters.
New Edubiase play as guests to Dreams FC in the matchday 17 league fixture.
