Action continues on Wednesday across the country as the Ghanaian topflight league enters Match Day 25 with several exciting fixtures to look out for, especially at two venues, Kumasi and WA, where two feisty top four encounters involving all the title contenders will take place.

Obviously maximum attention will be focused on the aforementioned venues as Kotoko hosts Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak travel up North to square off against leaders WA All Stars with both games promising to produce plenty of thrills and nail biting moments as all four teams put their title aspirations on the line.

Dethroned league champions Ashanti Gold will likely continue their surge up the table with victory over the once promising but now troubled Liberty professionals, there will be all to play for as young but deadly WAFA play host to Dreams FC at the Red Bull arena and Medeama SC still in celebratory mood over their heroic defeat of TP Mazembe will look to add to the relegation problems of their hosts -Bechem Utd – who are just a point off the first relegation spot as they prep for their forthcoming assignment against MO Bejaia of Algeria.

Elsewhere in midweek action, relegation candidates Inter Allies, New Edubiase and Hasaacas (a game in hand) will aim for the maximum points against Ebusua Dwarfs who will be on the hunt for an unbelievable fourth straight win, Techiman City and Berekum Chelsea respectively to keep their survival hopes alive.

Asante Kotoko v Aduana Stars

Fourth placed Kotoko have the odds back in their favor as they take on the inconsistent but second placed Aduana Stars - following successive wins against Dreams and Liberty. The wins have put the Porcupine Warriors back on track following a string of uninspiring results put their title ambitions in jeopardy. It has also watered down calls for a technical director as it appears supporters cum directors have started believing once again in Michael Osei.

But Osei must remain focused and not get carried away as a loss to Aduana will spark controversy again. Fortunately for him bandit striker Dauda Mohammed is back and succeeding in the goal scoring business.  Dauda bagged a superb goal against Liberty, he will be expected to lead the line and cause Aduana plenty of problems.

Aduana won at home against Berekum Chelsea to move within a point of top spot but will need to double their efforts against Kotoko or risk losing their position.

All Stars v Hearts of Oak

Pressure is mounting on Coach Sergio Traguil ahead of their crunch clash with All Stars in WA to turn the fortunes of Hearts of Oak around. A couple of weeks ago, fans were showering praises on the Portuguese but their humiliating defeat at WAFA, coupled with back to back home ties has sparked anger within the fan base with some calling for the head of Traguil as well as Board Chairman Vincent Odotei Sowah.

The Phobians, who sit third, blew away a golden opportunity to overtake All Stars, who lost at Dwarfs, at the summit as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Techiman City last weekend. And on Wednesday they will have similar opportunity against All Stars but as to whether they can grab it with both hands depends on Traguil's methods.

It must be pointed out that Hearts have lost their invincibility, evident in their last three games, and All Stars on paper have the advantage.

The Northern Blues are unbeaten at home, having picked 30 out of 36 points. An imperious record which is probably going to improve if Hearts leave their mojo in Accra.

All Stars won the first leg by three goals to one.

Techiman City v New Edubiase

This may be the season that New Edubiase finally bid farewell to the Premier League - after surviving by the skin of their teeth the last two seasons - unless they produce something extraordinary to claim maximum points in their remaining games, starting from Techiman.

Last plus 7 points above safety, Edubiase face an uphill task at the Citizens backyard. Techiman head into the game brimming with confidence after earning a point at Hearts.

Their last home result was a shocking one, losing 0-1 at the hands of Ebusua Dwarfs but should the play like they did against Hearts, Edubiase would be in some real trouble.

Inter Allies v Ebusua Dwarfs

Last but one Inter Allies need nothing short of victory against Ebusua Dwarfs to keep their survival hopes alive.

Dwarfs however will be a stern side given their recent form. The Crabs have improved dramatically to mid table and 4points clear of safety having won four of their last six.

The Astro turf could play to the favor of the talented Allies outfit who need the win badly to salvage what is increasingly beginning to look like a lost season.  A win for the Eleven is One lads is likely given the stakes and the venue but they can’t underrate the born again crabs who will be in the hunt for a fourth straight win.

Ashanti Gold v Liberty Professionals

Unbeaten in their last eight games, dethroned defending champions AshGold will seek to compound the problems of George Lamptey and his once high performing Liberty Professionals.

The performance of Liberty have not gone down too well with club directors with reports suggesting Lamptey will be sacked if the trend continues.

Liberty demolished Ashgold 5-1 at home in the corresponding fixture with Latif Blessing hitting a brace. The striker is one goal shy of top scorer Yahaya Mohammed who has 14 goals.

He failed a late fitness test before the game against Kotoko but he's expected to return to the fold.

Ashanti Gold have won 10 of the last 19 meetings. The Miners have lost 5 and drawn 4.

Bechem United v Medeama

Bechem United made the most of home court as they beat Inter Allies 2-0 to give their survival hopes a shot. They will entertain Medeama hoping for a win and nothing else.

Medeama posted a sweet win over TP Mazembe to inch closer to the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup. A moral boosting win which could be spur them on to collect full spoils at Bechem.

Bechem will be without Manuel Zacharias as the Portuguese continue to serve his suspension for disrespecting the Club's directives.

Bechem are yet to lose at home to Medeama after three tries. But Medeama hold the overall record with 4 out of 7 meetings.

West Africa Football Academy v Dreams FC

WAFA are tipped heavily to extend its unbeaten home record against Dreams FC.

The Academy Boys made it 26 games at the Red Bull Arena without defeat with a stunning 3-1 win over Hearts of Oak.

Dreams will approach the game with some seriousness having failed to win any of their last two fixtures. They played so well against Kotoko but lost due a controversial looking last minute penalty while AshGold stole a point at their expense last weekend.

Dreams won the first match by a lone goal.

Berekum Chelsea v Sekondi Hasaacas - Berekum

An easy one to predict in Berekum Chelsea's favor taking their impressive home record and Hasaacas's bad travelling form into consideration.

Chelsea though will not have Saddick Adams available as the captain is having a fruitful trial in Turkey.

In spite of that, scoring against Hasaacas who have the worse defence in the league should not be too much to ask for from Seth Appiah and company.

Hasaacas, with a game in hand, have to be extra careful to avoid a mauling and also pick up a point at worse given their current position.
