With just 10 games left to play this season, the Ghana Premier League is entering its crucial stages.
Asante Kotoko are racing clear at the top of the table as the relegation battle gets ever tighter.
Here are four games to lookout for this weekend.
WAFA vs Legon Cities
WAFA have seen an improvement in their form over the last few games especially in away games.
Two of their last three victories have come on the road.
However, the Academy boys will look to bounce back on their own turf after losing their last encounter at home.
Legon Cities come in high spirits after completing a late comeback against Liberty.
The job isn’t anywhere near done for Bashir Hayford, whose side will need maximum points to pull away from the relegation battle.
Stadium: WAFA park, Sogakope
Time: Saturday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: WAFA 2-1 Legon Cities
AshantiGold vs Great Olympics
AshantiGold are winless in their last three games and struggling for form at the moment.
Thomas Duah stepped in as interim coach after the departure of Romain Folz.
Duah hasn’t had it easy and with the fixtures coming in thick and fast, the Miners could find themselves in real trouble.
They face a motivated Great Olympics side who can’t afford to drop any more points in their title hunt.
The Obuasi-based club were victorious back in Accra when both sides met and will look to repeat that result.
Stadium: Len Clay stadium , Obuasi
Time: Sunday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: AshGold 2-4 Great Olympics
Liberty Professionals vs Asante Kotoko
Asante Kotoko look like they’re running away with the league, already establishing a four-point lead the top.
Liberty’s home form has been inspiring since their switch to WAFA park.
The Scientific Soccer lads have won two home games and drawn twice at the WAFA park so far.
It’ll be a tricky test to Mariano Barreto’s men who are unbeaten in four away games.
Liberty themselves have been sucked into the relegation zone and three points will be crucial in their fight against the drop.
Stadium: WAFA Park, Sogakope
Time: Sunday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: Liberty Professionals 2-2 Asante Kotoko
Hearts of Oak vs Elmina Sharks
Salifu Ibrahim’s good form has come at the right time for Samuel Boadu who needed some inspiration after the Dreams FC defeat.
Hearts of Oak have been faultless after that defeat, winning two games without conceding against King Faisal and Bechem United.
The Phobians return to Accra after breaking Bechem’s unbeaten run and will be full of confidence against Elmina Sharks.
Sharks have just two wins in their last six games and would want to rack up points to prevent any late battle for relegation.
Both Hearts and Sharks could not be separated in the reverse fixture but a similar result this weekend won’t benefit either side.
Boadu’s men need all three points to put pressure on Kotoko at the top whilst Sharks want to move away from the relegation battle.
Stadium: Accra Sports stadium, Accra
Time: Sunday, 18:00GMT
Prediction: Hearts of Oak 3-0 Elmina Sharks
