The title race seems to be getting ever tighter with five points separating the first seven teams.
Asante Kotoko dropped point last week but still sit top of the table and will be looking to get back to winning ways.
Great Olympics, Medeama, Hearts of Oak, Karela United, Dreams FC and Bechem United are among the chasing pack and will be hunting down Kotoko.
Here are four games you can’t afford to miss this weekend:
Asante Kotoko vs Medeama
Two points separate Kotoko and Medeama in the league and this sets up to be a blockbuster fixture this matchday.
The Porcupine Warriors will be after all three points in the quest to end Medeama’s title charge.
For Medeama, it’s about their resurgence after flirting with relegation in the early part of the season.
The Mauve and Yellows have since gone on an incredible run and currently have lost just one game in their last seven.
Yaw Preko will be without two key players in Ahmed Toure (suspension) and Ahmed Toure (injury) who have contributed to their form.
Kotoko welcome Ahmed Toure back from injury but will have to do without Mudasiru who has accumulated yellow cards.
Stadium: Len Clay stadium, Obuasi
Time: Saturday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: Asante Kotoko 2-1 Medeama
Karela United vs Hearts of Oak
If there was one team hoping the first round didn’t end, it’ll be Karela United.
They were flying high and cruising at the top of the table before the break.
Unfortunately, all that good form has vanished into thin air with no victory in their last three games.
Up next is a difficult test against a strong Hearts of Oak side who have found new life under new coach Samuel Boadu.
The Phobians returned to winning ways against Inter Allies after a spirited performance.
Currently, Hearts are just two points off the top and could end the weekend at the summit of the table.
Stadium: Accra Sports stadium, Accra
Time: Sunday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: Karela United 1-1 Medeama
Inter Allies vs King Faisal
A must win game for both clubs who find themselves sinking in the relegation zone with each passing matchday.
Inter Allies who currently are six points away from safety would relish all three points against a struggling King Faisal.
The Kumasi-based club are winless in their last four games and are in search of inspiration. There is no better match than a game against fellow relegation candidates.
The Eleven is to One boys have looked more like a team so far in the second round and can draw confidence from their victory over Karela United two matchdays ago.
Whoever wins this game will have a good shot in escaping a relegation battle which looks to go all the way this season.
Stadium: Accra Sports stadium, Accra
Time: Sunday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: Inter Allies 2-0 King Faisal
Legon Cities vs Dreams
Dreams began life without Joseph Esso on an encouraging note, narrowly beating Karela United last matchday.
As things stand, the Still Believe boys are just five points behind table toppers Asante Kotoko and could have an outside chance of challenging.
Up next is a tricky tie against Legon Cities who are still trying to break free of the relegation battle.
Currently just one point above the drop, the Royals no anything but victory could see them fall into the relegation zone by the end of the weekend.
In recent history, this hasn’t been a fixture of goals with the last two encounters ending in goalless draws.
The stakes are much higher this time and both teams will go all out for three points.
Stadium: Accra Sports stadium, Accra
Time: Sunday, 15:00GMT
Prediction: Legon Cities 2-1 Dreams FC
