Nations FC climbed to 2nd place on the Ghana Premier League table with a 1-0 win over Karela on matchday 9.
After a tight and grueling encounter, it was Faisal Charwetey’s strike, 15 minutes to time, that sealed the win for his side.
The defeat leaves Karela in 14th place, just a point above the relegation zone.
Nations FC on the other hand leapfrog Asante Kotoko into 2nd place, three points behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
