They have now completed a double over Legon Cities this season, having beaten them by the same scoreline on matchday four at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Legon Cities' struggles continue, with only one win in their last matches, leaving them four points behind Karela United in the relegation zone.
Karela United's next match is against Nations FC, while Legon Cities seek a win against Young Apostles.
