A first half strike by Hamza Issa proved decisive as Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Karela United by a goal to nil in the Ghana Premier League.
Issa scored the match winner after just three minutes, at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale on Sunday.
The Phobians have moved into the top four for the first time this season, following Sunday's win.
After a difficult start to the season, the Phobians are now just four points from league leaders Nations FC (22).
Sunday's win was the third in a now after previous wins over 2023 champions Medeama S.C and debutants Vision FC.
The result leaves Karela United Karela United firmly rooted at the bottom of the league table with nine points from eleven matches.
Hearts will face Nsoatreman United on Sunday at the University of Ghana Stadium, while Karela United travel to rejuvenated Dreams FC.
