Accra Lions and Young Apostles treated fans to a goalless draw at the University of Ghana Stadium in their Ghana Premier League fixture on Saturday, October 19.
The matchday seven fixture ended 0-0 with the two teams' winless run continuing.
The home side had a bright start to the game and should have taken the lead in the 20th minute but Ali Mohammed was denied by the Young Apostles goalkeeper.
Lions goalkeeper Daniel Afful was called into action just before the break as he made a brilliant save to deny the visitors.
Lawrence Setordjie forced a good save out of the Apostles goalkeeper immediately after the break but his effort was tipped over the bar for a corner.
In the 52nd minute, Ezekiel Alladoh was denied by the post as Lions continued to search for the opening.
Faris Tahiru missed from just yards out at the back post failing to make the most of the opportunity at his disposal.
Despite their attempts, Ibrahim Tanko's side were unable to beat the opposition's goalkeeper while Young Apostles struggled to play their way out with the game ending 0-0.
The result on the day means the two teams are currently without a win in their last three games as Young Apostles end a two-game losing run.
Accra Lions face Legon Cities in their next game while Apostles play at home to Dreams FC.
