Aduana FC beat Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium to move up on the Ghana Premier League standings on Sunday afternoon.
Kelvin Obeng scored the only goal of the game for the Dormaa-based side who jumped to third on the league log, nine points behind leaders FC Samartex.
Obeng struck after just 11 minutes played to condemn the Phobians to another league defeat.
In Samreboi, Samartex maintained their form as they took a step closer to winning this season's league title.
Baba Hamadu Musah and Evans Osei Wusu were among the goals for the Timber Giants who recorded a 3-0 win over relegation battlers Bofoakwa Tano.
Bechem United also sealed a 3-0 win at home against Karela United while Heart of Lions came from behind to record a 2-1 win against Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
MTN FA Cup finalists, Nosatreman snatched a four-goal margin win over Bibiani GoldStars at home with Medeama also piling more misery on Real Tamale United.
After this weekend's games, Samartex maintain their seven-point lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League while Nations FC sit in second.
Great Olympics drop to 16th, same points as Bofoakwa who sit 17th with RTU occupying the last spot.
