The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports has admitted that government has still not paid the Black Stars winning bonus, allowance and per diem from their last competitve victory.
The team is yet to receive their bonus from the 2017 AFCON qualifier against Mauritius which they won 7-1 in Accra.
There was unclear information as to whether government had fulfilled its obligation but speaking to Asempa Sports on Monday, Vincent Oppong Asamoah promised a speedy settlement of the matter.
“I am sure the Black Stars winning bonus and allowance will be paid into the account of the players after they play their next qualifying game.”

Sources say the bonuses owed the players for beating Togo in an Accra friendly a week ahead of the qualifier are still pending.
He also went ahead to talk about the preparation of team Ghana ahead of the upcoming 2015 All Africa Games slated for Congo Brazzaville.
“The preparation of team Ghana is ongoing, I see a lot of improvement and seriousness in the team now. I think Team Ghana is going to perform well and win more medals for Ghana and for themselves as well”.
He also denied the rumor that the President of the Republic of Ghana has instructed the Finance Minister to release the $4 million budgets for the games to National Sports Authority.
