Government has been applauded for putting more effort into the prioritisation of technical and vocational education whilst urged to establish more such institutions in the country.

The Ketu North District Education Director, Raphael Amenyo made the comments during the inauguration ceremony of Ben Fulk Technical Vocational Institute in Dzodze.

According to Mr Amenyo, it is necessary to have free technical and vocational training due to its several advantages.

"It is a good move to give free technical and Vocation training because of its many advantages and especially when it is creating an immediate self-employment after receiving training and that will encourage compliance to tax-paying," Mr Amenyo said.
