Member of Parliament for Adaklu, Kwame Agbodza, says President Akufo-Addo has not been able to fulfil any promise made to the Adaklu Senior High School during the 2020 election campaign.
According to the MP, the President pledged to provide the school with a bus, among some other logistics, none of which have materialized.
Mr Agbodza made these comments when he visited the construction site of a self-financed 8 unit classroom block at Adaklu SHS in the Volta Region.
"The president during his 2020 campaign tour promised the school a bus and roof the dining hall but is yet to fulfil any of the promises made, and the school even l composed a special song for him but still no show," Mr Agbodza complained.

The legislator stressed that the government must prioritize issues that need urgent attention, such as education.
He cited education as the best way to invest in people, adding that the government must make sure the necessary tools are provided for effective teaching and learning.
Kwame Agbodza noted that the Adaklu SHS lacks adequate dormitories making teaching and learning difficult, whiles the abandoned community school has accommodation capacity for students.

"Instead of building enough dormitories in the Senior High School, the NPP rather built dormitories in the community school, which is wasting sadly away," he said.
The MP is funding the construction of the constituency party office. Mr Agbodza explained that he is funding Adaklu SHS's 8-unit classroom block because he wants to leave a legacy.
He also visited other projects being undertaken by his office.
