The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) will organize a health walk and aerobics session for students and authorities of the school later this month.
The health exercise which is being put together by Goldstar Consult limited will see household names in the music industry such as Stonebwoy and award winning Kwaw Kese all present.
The programme on February 27 is also to create awareness on the importance of regular exercises
“Regular exercise is the way to go in life and I will encourage all the students and everybody to be part of this health venture,” said Prof. Philip Duku Osei who is Vice Rector of GIMPA
“This is good for everybody and that is why we have endorsed it, we are not just going to exercise but we are also going to have fun." There will also be a health screening and sporting competitions between various schools on campus.
“Some celebrities like Stonebowy and Kwaw Kese will join us on the day so it promises to be fun.”.
Mr. Samuel Anim, CEO of Goldstar Consult limited and also a student at the institute also noted the importance of this programme
"As the saying goes, a healthy body is a healthy mind so obviously this is very important and we are all going to be part of it."
"We all must come together on February 27 to exercise and have fun, there will be an aerobics session after the walk and that will be led by an expert in that area."
