Nana Akuamoah Boateng Ababio, a local representative of SAMIK Electronics of South Korea has said the company was promoting giant display boards to enable more Ghanaians to have access to the CAN 2008 football tournament.
He said the boards could also be used to promote government projects, programmes and generate extra funds for the various assemblies.
Nana Ababio said these when the company displayed its product for Mr. Kwesi Blay, Deputy Western Regional Minister, District Chief executives, officials of the National Sports Council and the media at Sekondi.
He said such giant boards had been used at several international sporting tournaments.
Mr. Philip K. Nkrumah, Shama Ahanta East Metropolitan Chief Executive said the assembly was likely to benefit from two of such giant display boards and would be located at the Jubilee Park in Takoradi and the Sekondi Methodist Park.
