Captain of the Ghana U-17 Hockey team, Alfred Ntiamoah insists his side will be under no extra pressure as Africa’s sole representative at the maiden Youth Olympics in Singapore.
Ghana earned the continent’s sole ticket to the 20-day event after their impressive performance at a qualifying competition in South Africa.
Team Ghana will begin its campaign at the competition with a game against Pakistan on August 17 at the Sengkang Stadium.
Alfred Ntiamoah is convinced his side is battle ready.
