Ghana finally has its first facility services app to allowing homeowners to order any service – from the services of a plumber to an electrician – all from the simple tap of a button on their phones.
The app, called the PEPs Home, Office and Facility Maintenance, has a catchy tagline to go with it – “If home is where the heart is, then PEPs definitely puts the heart in the home.”
Operations Manager at Peponi Gruppe Limited (PGL) – the application managers – Philip Opoku, describes PEPs as “an on-demand home or office facility services app for best, affordable and quick home/office maintenance service solutions”.
With PEPs, you choose from a wide range of home or office services you need from the mobile app, review prices, set location, date, time and payment mode as per your convenience.
For instance, if you want to fumigate your home, you just order to specification and a service provider will arrive at your home with the service.
If your toilet or pipe in your home or office has ever been broken then you will appreciate how tough it is to find a highly skilled and most importantly reliable plumber to provide an effective fix.
“This is PEPs unique strength,” said Philip.
Philip explains that Peponi Gruppe Limited subject the service providers they send clients through detailed background checks before they are assigned.
“Customers know exactly what they are supposed to pay before a job starts” Philip observed. PEPs also offers flexible payment methods such as Cash After Job, Mobile Money and Debit/Credit card payment channels, 7 to 31 days warranty based on nature of service to ensure customer satisfaction.
“And you don’t need to be tech savvy to use the service because the APP has a user-friendly interface which is easy to navigate. It just reduces the stress. At the comfort of your home, you can book maintenance and other services in less than 30 seconds. The APP launched on March 20 and is available to download on the Google Play store,” he said.
