The music streaming platform, AudioMack, incurred the wrath of some Ghanaians on Twitter after they labelled Black Sherif as a Nigerian.
AudioMack on Monday revealed that Black Sherif was among the most streamed Hip-Hop artists this week.
Black Sherif was ahead of Kodak Black, Lil Durk and JUICEWRLD.

His song, 'Kwaku The Traveller' which was released on Friday, was the most-streamed new song.
But in their posts, the platform attached a Nigerian flag to Black Sherif’s name.

Many music lovers on Twitter did not take this mistake lightly.
For some, the platform’s mistake undermines the efforts of Black Sherif and the Ghanaian music industry.
People on the microblogging platform implored the platform to make the necessary changes to their post.

Meanwhile, some Nigerians and Ghanaians believe it is only right for Nigeria to claim Black Sherif, after he emerged number one on the Apple Music Top 100 chart in Nigeria.
