Joy News' Hannah Odame and Jennifer August visited the bustling market to assess the mood of the electorate.
At Makola, a trader expressed readiness for the election, even stating that she wished it could take place today, December 5. She encouraged fellow Ghanaians to go out and vote for their preferred presidential and parliamentary candidates.
There appears to be a strong desire for unity, with several individuals stressing the importance of peaceful post-election conduct.
