Thomas Partey played 26 minutes for Spanish giants Atletico Madrid as his side missed a chance to go top of the Primera Division.

The midfielder replaced Fernando Carrasco on 64 minutes and picked up a booking as Atletico went down 1-0 to Malaga.

Frank Acheampong played 69 minutes for his Anderlecht side in the Belgium Pro League as they beat Club Brugge by four goals to one.

Ebenezer Assifuah and his Sion side lost by a goal to nil in their away game against FC Zuerich as the Ghanaian played 63 minutes of the game.

Defender John Boye played the entire duration in Sivasspor’s 0-0 draw with Kayserispor .

Jerry Akaminko also played the entire duratuin for Eskisehirspor when they suffered a 2-1 away loss against Basaksehir.

Midfielder Bennard Kumordzi played for the first time in 18 months coming off the bench to replace Yoni Buyens for giants Genk in their 3-0 win against St Truiden.

Winger Frank Acheampong also returned from injury to assist a goal for Anderlecht and played 69 minutes as they defeated Club Brugge 4-1 in the Pro League.

Nana Akwasi Asare played the entire duration of Gent’s 3-0 win over Kortrijk.

Striker Majeed Waris returned from a six-game suspension to play for Lorient in their 0-0 draw with Nantes on Saturday.

Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso played the entire duration for Rio Ave but high flying Benfica proved too strong to win 3-1 in the Portuguese league.

Michael Essien played the full 90 minutes for Panathinaikos in their 1-0 loss at Panthrakikos on Sunday.

Sulley Muntari played 75 minutes of his Al Ittihad side's game against Al Taawon. Al Ittihad won the game by four goals to one.
