Despite admitting the Black Stars will be in a difficult group at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Inaki Williams is optimistic Ghana will do everything to go past the group stage.
Otto Addo and his charges have been drawn in Group H, where they will face competition from Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
However, the Athletic Club forward, who recently completed his nationality switch to play for Ghana, believes the Black Stars will put in the maximum effort to advance to the knockout stages.
"It's very special for Ghana to qualify for Qatar. I think anything can happen. I think it is a difficult group. It is not going to be easy for Ghana but the team is going to do everything to qualify for the next round," he told to TV3.
The 28-year-old has played in six consecutive seasons in the Spanish top-flight without missing a game through an injury and he will look to put on the Black Stars jersey in September when Ghana plays Angola.
