Ghana will play neighbours Togo in Austria in next month’s friendly international, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.
The 9 February assignment will be the first major test for new coach Goran Stevanovic who was unveiled early this month.
Ghana are preparing for a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo on 26 March before a high-profile friendly against England at Wembley three days later.
The Black Stars are currently 16th in the Fifa ranking and will maintain their position among the best 20 sides in the world if they win the game.
Ghana last played Togo in an international friendly on 16 August 2006 and won 2-0.
