Ghana is expected to be involved in this year’s Soccerex Americas, which is scheduled to take place in March.
The global football community will be at the Miami Beach Convention Centre in USA to discuss the way forward for the sport.
The event, which is dubbed ‘Soccerex Americas’ is an annual event that is held between March 15 and 16. It brings together over 2000 senior stakeholders of the game with 90 countries involved.
The event also has the aim of coming up with a special business environment through an extended programme of industry insight, workshops and networking opportunities.
Go Ghana LLC, which is a partner for Soccerex, is expected to take to the event soccer and business delegation.
The event serves as an opportunity for Ghanaian clubs and companies to promote their products and services to the globe.
The Chief Executive Officer of Go Ghana LLC, Annie Hiamey, has assured participants of receiving support and also organizing pre-arranged meetings with buyers from the USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe.
Sports NL will also be at the event to discuss the progress and development of Dutch football while Major Soccer League Commissioner, Don Garber is also expected.
Per the organisers of Soccerex Americas, an exclusive chat with Chief Content Officer for Manchester United, Ian Nolan is also promised.
This year’s event will also see the partnership of the Department of International Trade and Soccerex Americas to display UK commercial capabilities and thought-leadership within the sports sector and give participants the opportunity for UK organisations to promote their products and services.
The 2022 edition of Soccerex will include industry leading conference programming, covering key topics the football industry has faced, a showcase of the latest services and products from around the world, “and creating unparalleled networking opportunities.”
