Ghana cycling has the opportunity to host the 4th Africa Continental Para cycling Championship in December this year.
Ghana’s recent impressive performance in international competitions including the last All Africa Games in Maputo informed the Africa body in charge of the sport to hand the tournament hosting rights to Ghana.
Four main events, Hand Cycling, Blind Visual, Tri-Cycle and Cycling will be the attractions for December’s event.
Communications Director for the Ghana Cycling Dennis Kweku Moore believes Ghana stand the chance of gaining enough publicity as far as this sport is concerned.
“Hosting this event will also generate resource s for the nation from the tourists and participants of the event”. Moore told Joy sports.
