Ghana Telecom has reportedly been scheduled to be rebranded as Vodafone after the Easter holidays.
The move follows a 70% acquisition Ghana Telecom by Vodafone whereas the Ghanaian government still holds 30% stake.
Although the take over was completed last year, it still retains the Ghana Telecom.
The rebranding will also lead to a stiff competition among the operators in the Ghanaian mobile market.
