The Ghana Science Association Editorial Board is calling on young scientists in second cycle (JHS, SHS) and tertiary institutions to participate in the Young Scientist Essay Challenge 2022.
The essay writing is on the Topic: The Role of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development.
Ghana Science Association seeks to advance Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through the exchange and cross-fertilization of ideas prospects.
The Association aims to promote and disseminate scientific information and technology, create a channel to transfer and apply transfer science knowledge for national development.
Eligibility requirement
Candidates must be in junior high, senior high school or in a Ghanaian tertiary institution.
The challenge is open to all students below age 25.
All entries must be typed in MS Word: font size 12 and line spacing of 1.5 in Times New Roman.
Candidates must indicate the following details in the format below:
Full Name (First, Middle, Last/Surname): Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy), Age. Institution/ School Address. Emails. Phone.

The challenge is open until December 31, 2022 and prize winners will be announced by February 2023.
All entries are eligible to be published in a special issue of the ESS Magazine.
The best writers/authors will receive various prizes.
