Ghana captain John Mensah and Sulley Muntari have hailed the training methods of new Black Stars coach Goran Stevanovic.
The Serbian worked with the Black Stars for the first time on Monday ahead of the friendly against Togo.
The Black Stars were put to their paces before the new Serbian coach unfurled his strategy for matches under him.
With rapt attention the players listened to Stevanovic who worked out his strategy in three sessions including a time with assistant coach Akwasi Appiah and a video analyst who was employed by the Serbian.
Ghana senior players John Mensah and Muntari were delighted with the first day under Stevanovic and they are confident they will be successful.
“I am very impressed with coach Stevanovic’s work ethic and he was so dedicated to the work by the look of things,” Captain John Mensah said.
“We are happy to see him exhibit the qualities the Ghana FA saw in him and I know we will learn from him and get the results.”
Muntari added: “The training went very well and you can see from the look of things Mr. Stevanovic means business.
“He will help Ghana to be successful again at the highest stage – I am sure about that.”
Ghana will play Togo in the Belgian town of Antwerp on Tuesday night at 8pm local time.
