This year’s Ghana Investment Forum, the biggest platform for investors to engage with Ghanaian industry and investment facilitators has been slated for 22nd to 24th July 2009.
The event takes place at the Accra International Conference Centre.
President John Evans Atta Mills and other Ministers of State will be attending the programme. A statement from organisers of the event said “captains of industry, international speakers and key representatives of local and foreign businesses (will) discuss investment opportunities in major sectors of the Ghanaian economy.”
The statement added that “The Ghana Investment Forum 2009 will concentrate on the following key sectors: Agriculture, Financial Services, Information Communications Technology, Manufacturing, Petroleum and Mining Services, Public-Private Partnerships and Tourism.”
Organisers say all potential investors as well as those who have already started doing business in Ghana must participate in the programme.
Participants are required to pay a registration fee of GHC 100 and they can register on-line at www.gipcghana.com or send details to gif@gipcghana.com
The forum will be climaxed Friday, July 24, 2009 with the Ghana Club 100 Awards Dinner at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra at 7pm.
