The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association has set December 15 to appoint a substantive coach for the Black Stars.
According to the FA spokesperson Randy Abbey, nine coaches from the 106 applicants for the vacant post have been shortlisted.
“The Executive Committee has set a 15 December deadline to find a new coach and after reducing the number to five, we will then conduct the interview and settle on the new coach,” Abbey said.
Speculations making rounds in the local media have it that the list includes Ghanaian-born former French international Marcel Desailly and local coach Herbert Addo.
