The official automobile sponsor of the afcon 2015 tournament Nissan is organizing a live viewing event in collaboration with its local dealer, Nissan Auto Parts Ltd of the crucial semi-final tie between the Black Stars of Ghana and host nation Equatorial Guinea.
The live viewing event which will take place at the Chase Lounge and Bar, Labone is part of the many brand activation programmes Nissan has championed over the years.
The event is opened to football fans as well as lovers of Nissan.
A statement issued in Accra, Wednesday, said "one of the main reasons Nissan associated itself with AFCON is the synergy between Nissan products and soccer. Innovation and excitement are at the heart of both – whether it is innovative moves or design features, performance or tactics, all create a thrill for drivers and passenger; fellow players; and supporters."
"The live viewing event is also to ensure that Nissan bonds well with its customers.
"...AFCON attracts a large following throughout the continent. Nissan believes AFCON is a powerful platform to build its brand. Nissan’s aim is to show fans the excitement of both football and its cars. Both are created by amazing people who have a passion for what they do," the statement said.
