Ghana slipped five places down the latest Fifa ranking released for the month of June with four days to their 2010 World Cup/Nations Cup qualifier against Mali in Bamako.
The Black Stars dropped from the 31st place to 35th position as 21 'A' international matches taken into account in this edition.
But Ghana are still the third highest ranked country on the continent behind Cameroun and Nigeria.
Within the top ten, there is movement directly behind leaders Spain, however, as the Netherlands have overtaken Germany and reclaimed second place in the ranking for the first time since October 2005.
Other teams to have traded places are Italy 4th, up by one place and Brazil 5th, down by one place, as well as England 6th, up by one place and Argentina 7th, down by one place.
The next Fifa/Coca-Cola world ranking will be published on 1 July 2009.
