Ghana is set to host the highly anticipated Ghana AI Summit & Awards 2025 on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Kofi Annan ICT Centre in Accra.
Under the theme “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development: Hype or Reality?”, this event will convene AI experts, innovators, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore the transformative role of AI in Ghana’s sustainable development and recognize outstanding contributions to AI innovation.
Organised by Knowledge Innovations in association with Deloitte Ghana and other esteemed partners ( TechFocus, Penplusbytes, AIDEC Digital, Dothouse Digital, GH Tribune, Ghana Bizhub, Knowledge Web Centre, The Telecom Channel, Media General, The High Street Journal), the summit aims to build momentum around AI-driven solutions that address some of Ghana's pressing challenges across healthcare, agriculture, finance, education, and governance.
The event's mission is to inspire AI adoption, foster meaningful collaboration, celebrate talent, and guide policy development to support AI’s ethical and sustainable growth in Ghana.
Dr. Kwami Ahiabenu, Chair of the Organizing Committee, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming summit, emphasising the strategic importance of this event for Ghana’s development.

The event’s objectives include promoting AI innovation, fostering collaboration across sectors, celebrating excellence within the field, raising awareness about AI's potential, and building capacity within Ghana’s emerging AI ecosystem. Attendees can expect keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, an academic conference with peer-reviewed submissions, and an exhibition space showcasing cutting-edge AI solutions. The evening will culminate in an Awards Ceremony honoring distinguished achievements in AI.
