The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) is proposing that the resumption date of premier league is brought forward.
The league was set to be on break for six weeks and resume after the CHAN on March 2 but an early exit for the local Black Stars team means clubs will have their players at least 16 days to the resumption and chairman of GHALCA Emmanuel Adottey is calling for early resumption.
He said there were events on the sporting calendar of the country and stressed the need to take advantage of the early exit of the local stars to resume the league and save some time.
When the league resumes it will be interesting to observe what Serbian coaches do with their various clubs.
King Faisal have also hired a trainer from the eastern European country taking the number to three in the top flight alone.
Dragan Popadic after a deal with Hearts of Oak fell through has joined King Faisal.
And just like his compatriots Bogdan Korak at Kotoko and Vucicevic Nebosja at Hearts of Oak, the 56-year-old has to improve Faisal and he is confident about that.
He said the African terrain was not new to him as he had spent the last six years coaching clubs in various countries on the continent.
Coach Nebosja said he is confident his experience will be handy in a bid to improve the chances of the Phobians.
