The new presidential nomination fee for GFA's Congress has been increased from GHC5,000 to GHC50,000 cedis after no Congress member put in a counter proposal.
The Elections Committee of the GFA proposed for the increase of the presidential and other fees, since the 'administration of elections is expensive'.

Kojo Yankah and George Afriyie are the only two candidates to have so far announced their intention to unseat Kurt Okraku as current FA president.
The terms for the GFA president has not been approved to the proposed three.
