The Ghana Football Association has announced the appointment of coaches to take charge of three of the four newly-created male national teams.
Last month, the GFA announced it was creating four new male and five new female national teams as part of a strategy to ensure continuity in player development at all levels.
On Monday, the country's football governing body made coaching appointments to three of the male teams.
Dreams FC head coach, Karim Zito, has been put in charge of the country's U-19 team, while former Black Stars striker, Yaw Preko, will take charge of the U-15 team.
Samartex FC coach, Nurudeen Amadu, will manage the U-18 boys.
Zito will be assisted by former Asante Kotoko striker, Eric Bekoe, and Preko will be deputized by former U-17 star, Awudu Issaka and Mubarak Gado.
Amadu's assistants are Vision FC coach, Hamza Obeng and former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, James Nanor.
All three coaches have significant experience working as youth coaches in the past, with Karim Zito, previously in charge of Ghana's U-17 and U-20 teams, winning the Africa Cup of Nations with the latter in 2021.
Preko has also coached the Black Satellites in the past, while Amadu was assistant to Paa Kwasi Fabin as Black Starlets coach in 2017.
The GFA have yet to appoint a coach for the newly-created U-21 national team.
