A staunch member of the newly inaugurated Executive Group of Hearts of Oak Adu Brown Nyame also known as Saabrown is confident newly appointed Hearts Managing Director will succeed if given the necessary cooperation he deserves.
Saabrown made this statement on Thursday after Shareholders of the club confirmed the appointment of Gerald Ankrah as the Managing Director of the Club.
His appointment took effect from the 1st of October 2014 and therefore needed the collective approval of the shareholders after the Board had Okayed the decision to join the Oak tree.
The decision received a unanimous approval from all stakeholders at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday at the World Trade Centre in Accra.
The AGM which by far lived up to its billing was well attended by most of the shareholders who managed to take time off their busy schedules to make the event a success.
“I think Ankrah, the current Executive Director of Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA), who replaced Neil Armstrong Mortagbe last September; after the latter was relieved of his duties by the Hearts board will surely succeed since he has been given the all green light by the shareholders.
“Our supporters should also back him 100% to hit his target by attending all matches to revive the Phobia spirit".He added.
