The country’s largest bank, Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) has announced a new base rate.
The base rate, effective 11th October is 21.5 percent down from 22.75 percent. It makes it the lowest base rate on the market.
Until the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) dropped its rate to 21.95 percent a few months ago, GCB had the lowest base rate.
