The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) in its latest report for April has projected a victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of Ghana’s general elections in December.
It said government's ambitious industrialisation programme is enjoying some success, with investment expected to recover once the virus subsides.
Nonetheless, overall progress will continue to be hampered by structural weaknesses and regional imbalances.
