Just when you might have thought you had heard and seen it all, love takes turns and brews at one of the weirdest places in life, the mortuary.
34-year-old Gifty Sena Susoku met her beloved husband, Paul Edem Susoku, who is an undertaker, at the mortuary where her father was preserved.
In her grief, she found comfort from the undertaker who was contracted to ready her father’s remains and reignited her love after two failed marriages.
Mr Susoku, after listening to Gifty’s story, decided to give love a second chance despite experiencing a terrible divorce.
“I never believed I would be called a husband because of what I went through. I decided not to marry again due to my past experience but changed my mind because I realised we were in the same situation,” Mr Susoku recounted.
But you may wonder how Gifty captured his attention and heart since he was on duty and busy working on the corpse.
Watch out for the full feature produced by Joan Maanyiaza Nyaame, which will premiere on Joy Prime on Friday, April 26. It will also be aired on JoyNews throughout the day and streamed on all social media platforms.
