The 2024 edition of the Ghana Garden and Flower Show came to a vibrant close at the Efua Sutherland Park in Accra, under the theme Greenovation.
This year’s event celebrated not only the power of innovation in promoting a greener environment but also marked a significant milestone for Stratcomm Africa, the show's organisers, as they celebrated their 30th anniversary.
The ceremony was graced by a distinguished guest speaker, Esther Cobbah, CEO of Stratcomm Africa and president of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana.

In her speech, Cobbah emphasised the importance of sustainable practices in preserving the environment and urged all Ghanaians to adopt “greenovative” solutions to protect the planet.
“This year’s theme, Greenovation, is not just about innovation for the sake of it; it’s about finding creative ways to harness nature’s resources while preserving them for future generations,” Madam Cobbah noted.
The Ghana Garden and Flower Show has grown in influence over the years, creating a platform for environmental sustainability, green entrepreneurship, and the promotion of floriculture.
Esther Cobbah highlighted the impact Stratcomm Africa has had over its 30-year journey, stating that its mission has always been creating awareness around crucial societal issues like environmental preservation.

“This journey of 30 years has been driven by a vision to positively impact society. Through the Ghana Garden and Flower Show, we continue to inspire people to embrace the beauty of nature while cultivating a sustainable environment,” she said.
Throughout the event, various participants showcased their innovative approaches to gardening and floriculture.
From landscaping solutions to unique flower displays, exhibitors engaged visitors in discussions on the role of green technology and entrepreneurship in modern gardening.
The event culminated in a colourful awards ceremony, where outstanding participants and exhibitors were recognised for their contributions to advancing sustainability.

The celebration also included cultural performances, further showcasing the connection between nature and the arts.
The Ghana Garden and Flower Show has become a staple event in Accra’s social calendar, with growing participation each year.
It brings stakeholders from various sectors, including agriculture, environmental conservation, and education, to promote greener, healthier living.

As Stratcomm Africa marks three decades of excellence, the success of this year’s event is a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to fostering sustainable development in Ghana.
The Greenovation theme reinforced the need for continuous dialogue and action toward a greener future, as attendees left inspired to implement innovative solutions in their own gardens, communities, and businesses.
