High grade golfer Frank Avorsey played spiritedly to run home with the flagship prize in the Ecobank cup golf competition at the Achimota golf club on Saturday.
Playing on a fine handicap of five, he recorded a 43 stableford points ; beating Mark tweneboa by just a stroke (42).
Sampson Assorgbah, also a single handicapper (3) beat kojo ansah (41)on coutback.
Young Jessica tei picked the ladies ultimate prize after a 39 stableford points. Christine furler, 38 stableford points, royal golf club's constance awuni, 36, Achimota's Elizabeth aku Yaba, 33 and Vivian dick 33 points followed in that order.
It was Barry dzadey, who picked the men's longest drive prize, while Jessica won the ladies category.
Dzadey again won the closest to the pin in the men's event with Rainer asiama winning the ladies closest to pin prize.

The 18- Hole event drew about 140 golfers from across the country.
Club captain, Dr Frank Adu Jnr thanked the sponsors as well as golfers for making the event a worthwhile.
