Young musician Fotocopy and his father, who also doubles as his manager, have apologised to singer Kuami Eugene following a controversy over a request for collaboration.
Speaking on Okay FM, Fotocopy’s father, Qwaachi stated that Fotocopy did not mean any malice after the nine-year-old expressed disappointment for not landing a feature with Kuami Eugene.
He rendered an apology to Kuami Eugene and urged the Lynx Entertainment singer to forgive the nine-year-old for lashing out and claiming to hate the singer during interviews.
Qwaachi also said that he would like all of them to live in harmony in the industry.
This comes after the ‘School Dey Be’ singer in a recent TV interview, said he hated Kuami Eugene because the musician did not want to feature on any of his songs.
Fotocopy claimed the musician had said he did not have enough numbers to land a feature with him.

Although Kuami Eugene admitted that Qwaachi casually asked him to feature on a song with Fotocopy, there was no other official communication.
Kuami Eugene said that as an artiste signed on a label with a team, it takes more than just talking to him to secure a feature adding that he advised the Fotocopy’s manager to have a formal conversation with his team.
He noted that he was thus taken aback to hear Fotocopy say he hated him while lamenting about not landing a collaboration.
“Kuami Eugene is not just there to do features for everyone. It takes good conversations to have a feature. To meet Richie…I do know the father. Qwaachi, you’re my friend, let’s go together. I will follow you and talk to Richie and the whole team – I have a road manager, somebody that invests and whatever.”
The two artiste on Wednesday met at the studios of Okay FM for an interview where the host Abeiku Santana advised the nine-year-old against making such comments.
Fotocopy later tearfully apologised to Kuami Eugene. The two hugged.
