Young artiste Foto Copy is once again apologising this time to the general public after criticisms of his recent interview.
This comes after the singer reportedly claimed in a new interview that he was forced to make peace with Kuami Eugene when they both appeared on Okay FM a few weeks ago.
Foto Copy claimed that Kuami Eugene should rather have apologised to him in any well-meaning society after the ‘Cryptocurrency’ singer snubbed his request for a collaboration.
Not only did he call the apology ‘fake’ he added that he no longer needs to have Kumai Eigene on any collaboration, claiming “I’m also big.”
However, nearly a day after the interview aired, Foto Copy’s management released a new statement apologising on his behalf.
They explained that the young singer did not once again mean to disrespect or offend anybody with his statement.
“On behalf of our artiste FOTO COPY and all the brands he represents, management would like to render an unqualified apology to the general public for some utterances made by our artiste in an interview on Movement TV dated Friday 28th April 2023.”
“FOTO COPY never meant to disrespect anyone with his answers during the interview hence we want to tell everyone who felt offended and disrespected that we are sorry,” parts of the statement read.
Foto Copy and Kuami Eugene's supposed ‘feud’ caught people’s eye with the young artiste saying he hated Kuami Eugene because the musician did not want to feature on any of his songs.
He claimed the musician had said he did not have enough numbers to land a collaboration.
However, although Kuami Eugene admitted that Qwaachi casually asked him to feature on a song with Foto Copy, there was no other official communication.
Kuami Eugene said that as an artiste signed on a label with a team, it takes more than just talking to him to secure a feature, adding that he advised the Foto Copy’s manager to have a formal conversation with his team. He added he was taken aback by young artiste’s comments.
The two later met at Okay FM where they were urged to put their differences aside and get on good terms with each other.
Foto Copy later tearfully apologised to Kuami Eugene. The two hugged. Many fans had assumed that the two had gotten on the same page until the young musician’s latest interview.
Meanwhile, Foto Copy’s management urged the general public to be patent with the ‘School Dey Bee’ singer.
“As much as he is been guided, nobody tries to take away his childhood from him which reflects in his demeanour sometimes. We ask you to keep supporting the young talented musician FOTO COPY to reach the height he aspires to reach in his musical journey. Management Signed Thank you for understanding.”
