The Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ojo Maduekwe, has died.
He died at his residence in Abuja on Wednesday night shortly after returning from the US.
The former Minister of Culture and Tourism and a former Minister of Transportation was born on May 6, 1945.
Chairman of the Board of BoT of the party, Sen. Walid Jibril, who is in Saudi Arabia for the Lesser Hajj, said he was shocked when he was told that Maduekwe passed on. Also a former Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh confirmed Mr. Maduekewe's death
