Former Manchester City left-back, Benjamin Mendy has joined Ligue 1 side, Lorient after being cleared of rape.
The 29-year-old, who was released by Manchester City in June, has signed a two-year deal with the French club.
A statement by Lorient confirmed his arrival, "After having satisfied the traditional medical examination, Benjamin Mendy, world champion 2018, quadruple winner of the Premier League under the colors of Manchester City and French champion of Ligue 1 with Monaco in particular, comes to reinforce the Lorient workforce for this new season."
Mendy's return to football comes days after he was found not guilty of rape at the Chester Crown Court last week Friday.
