Mr Akwasi Osei-Adjei, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and NEPAD, left Accra on Tuesday for Kampala, Uganda to attend the Commonwealth Foreign Ministers' meeting.
The two-day meeting precedes the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday.
It said the meeting would receive reports from the Commonwealth Foundation, Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Commonwealth Business Forum, Commonwealth Partnership for Technology Management (CPTM) and Civil Society.
The statement said substantive issues to be discussed at the meeting would include democracy, good offices, terrorism, international trade and economic co-operation, financing for development and climate change.
The Ministers at the end of their deliberations would present the draft CHOGM communiqué for consideration of the Heads of Government.
