Black Stars coach Claude Le Roy has named five players from the national Olympic team into his squad for the international friendly against Senegal on August 21st.
Striker Sadat Bukari and midfielders Michael Helegbe, Bernard Kumordzi and Isaac Vorsah have been called up into the Black Stars following the withdrawal of Ethiopia from the African Olympic Games qualifiers.
Unfortunately Le Roy will not have France based defender Yahya Mohammed available for the match due to injury.
Doubts also exist about the availability of Inter Milan's 16-year old striker Mario Barwuah whose adopted Italian parents insist he should play for the Italian national team.
Meanwhile,Accra Hearts of Oak are reported to have sacked their coach Kostadinov Debrev.
The decision was taken at a meeting between the club and the Bulgarian earlier today.
Hearts owe the coach five month salary but have agreed a compensation package for the sacked coach.
